With over 20 years of experience in the nursing profession and 11 years as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Batts combines her extensive medical knowledge with her personal journey as a fitness competitor. She understands the dedication, discipline, and drive it takes to excel in the world of athletics.
Dr. Batts's commitment to excellence extends beyond her nursing career. She honorably served 21 years in the United States Army, rising to the rank of MAJ. During her service, she received rigorous medical training at prestigious institutions such as Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and WOMACK Army Medical Center. Her skills were put to the test in critical situations, providing care during the Attack on the Pentagon and serving in the Hurricane Katrina Humanitarian Mission.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Batts serves as an Adjunct Professor for the University of Cincinnati and Project Mentor for Virginia Commonwealth University's DNP Nursing Program. Her dedication to evidence-based practice and her role as a mentor further highlight her commitment to advancing the field of medicine.
